Writing this might be a bad idea

There is no actual structure to what I’m about to write, it’s just a train of thought, triggered by a response to one of my other articles, called Bring on the immigrants. It was a critical response to that article that amused me and pissed me off a little. That’s why writing this might be a bad idea, because it will probably get more criticism. But I’ll write it anyway.

In Bring on the immigrants I wrote about the value that immigration adds to a country and an economy, and I criticised the general Conservative attitude, which is very anti immigration. Here’s a photograph of the response that led to me writing the article you’re reading.

I like the way this guy uses the verb ‘sneak’, it implies some sort of mischief. I suspect he reads a reliably pro Conservative and reliably xenophobic paper, maybe the Daily Mail. His tone is spot on Tory. Let’s dissect that, it’s condescending and arrogant, let’s talk accurately shall we?

The response comes from someone who appears to be supportive of the Conservatives. I didn’t think there were many Conservative supporters left, not ones shameless enough to make themselves known anyway.
