Tom Platz, aka The Golden Eagle, aka The Quadfather, is one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time. He is remembered above all else for his astonishing leg development. Without a doubt, in his heyday, Tom Platz had the best legs ever. In case anybody has been hiding under a rock for the last 40 years, Tom recently posted a video of himself training at the age of 65, along with a photograph of his legs. He still has better legs than a lot of current-day professional bodybuilders, 40 years younger than he is, and on massive amounts of steroids that Tom and his peers would never have dreamed of using.

Steroid use in the 1980s was a fraction of what it is now. The other thing that has changed is longevity. Ronnie Coleman, who won 8 consecutive Mr. Olympias from 1998 to 2005, is 56, and despite several surgeries, he is barely able to walk anymore. He is also in continuous pain.

The fact that Tom Platz is still training and is still in phenomenal shape, means that anybody who wants to exercise (not just bodybuilders) should listen to what he has to say. With the exception of a torn left bicep, Tom has also remained injury-free…
