What remains

This is just one moment
You will have much more,
I’ve been around and I can see
I’ve been here before.

Use the time you have
Do not allow regret,
Today is bad but you are young
You have time to forget.

Maybe I can do it too
My chances aren’t so good,
Take time to do the things you want
Not just the things you should.

Let’s make the most of what remains
A decade or a day,
Before the sun is setting
Say what you must say.

Let me see the world again
And hear it in your voice,
I’d live my life with you again
If I had such a choice.
