Three books that changed my life

Almost certainly not what you’re thinking.

I read a lot of books, always have done and always will. In college I used to say to my soulmate, “who needs people when you’ve got books and guitars?” Reading is a lifelong obsession of mine.

Some of the books I’ve devoured have had a major impact on me, not just psychologically and emotionally, but in more concrete terms. They have altered my life.

If you’re expecting a list of the usual self improvement and management books that people almost seem embarrassed to admit they haven’t read, look elsewhere. You won’t find anything by Napoleon Hill, Stephen Covey, Victor Frankl, Tony Robbins or any of the usual suspects in here. You can read about those in a hundred other articles and blogs.

You’ve probably never heard of some of the books on my list, but give me the benefit of the doubt. I’m certain that these books are so good, anyone can gain something from them.

So without further ado, let’s dive in.
