The skinnier I get
The better I look,
But everyone’s eating
So I still have to cook.

The less time I have
The more I must dream,
But life’s still a mess
And I have to clean.

The longer I’m here
The more I need friends,
I keeping telling myself
We’ll meet in the end.

There are things I desire
I pursue them for years,
When I can have them
I no longer care.
