Sometimes I like them big
Sometimes I like them small
Sometimes I don’t like them
Sometimes I want them all.

And when they all come easily
Everything is fine
Until I see another
And want to make it mine.

Sometimes I need them here
Sometimes I wish they’d go
Sometimes they’re too much
And I don’t want to know.

Each new one is the last
And I am absolved
Eventually I’m always wrong
Everything gets old.

Some things never tire
Some things never work
The ones I want the most
Always make it hurt.
