England’s oldest political party is in tatters
There has been very little positive coverage of the UK’s ruling party. Even right wing publications owned by the oligarchs and media tycoons who many believe that Boris Johnson serves, have struggled to say anything good about the Conservatives.
The current Prime Minister has survived many unprecedented scandals and failures. Just in the last month it has been revealed that he almost succeeded in having one Tory donor build a £150,000 tree house for his son Wilf, whilst normal people were struggling with the cost of living crisis. The Prime Minister was caught in his parliamentary office, having a sex act performed on him by his then mistress (now his third wife), whilst he was Foreign Secretary. He also tried to get his mistress a £100,000 a year job. Most recently he has denied being told that Chris Pincher had a history of predatory sexual behaviour. Johnson went ahead and made him a senior Tory whip despite being told about his past. That decision proved as well judged as most of Boris’ other decisions when Pincher groped two male colleagues. Currently, there are fifty eight MP’s being investigated for sexual misconduct.
