I’ll be there in a minute baby
Daddy’s on a call,
I tell myself I have do it
Do no good at all.

They pulled me in with silken rope
I tied myself a noose,
And lied to make it seem okay
The truth would be no use.

The truth is in the numbers
Delusion in the hope,
They always disagreed
All I had was rope.

I don’t have any time
I don’t see any sense
So I make another call
There is no recompense.

Give me ten more minutes baby
Then I’ll be with you
The rope is tighter with each breath
I know what I should do.
