Stony Gaze

What’s the problem
What’s the point
If all you ask is why?
Not what or when
Not anything
What else can you deny?
Can’t we just be
Can’t we just breathe
Is it ever the right time,
For anything
When everything’s
Imperfect by design?
Shine your light
Your stony gaze
It captivates and holds,
Caught in your glare
Every fractal
Helplessly unfolds.
Every smile
Every kiss
Everything we share,
Every place
We’ve been together
You turn into nowhere.
