It’s nicer not to think

About what I was saying,

Let the words remain asleep

While the thoughts are playing.

While they sleep the words are dreaming

They’ll awake all in a wonder,

To the world all glare and gleaming

I emerge from under.

I forget the weight I felt

Forget my faded breathing,

I forget most of the world

It all seems to be leaving.

Everything is in a flux

I’ll stay here and I’ll be still,

Time will not need dreams or silence

Only time is real.
