I prefer to sit alone
And not to hear a thing you say
I’d rather not be here at all
I’d prefer to go away.

The darkness is my blanket
My solace from the light
That burns me with it’s white caress
So I prefer the night.

I prefer the emptiness
The silent isolation
Far away from what I have
My singular vacation.

All inclusive nothing
Nobody and no more decrees
Only darkness all around
Only darkness inside me.
