Isn’t it funny

Isn’t it funny how life
Is always turning out,
And how the talkers expatiate
On what it’s all really about.

Life keeps doing whatever it wants
Nothing is right or wrong,
They stand around wagging their tongues
But life just keeps moving along.

I never imagined that life
Would turn out like this, did you?
I thought I’d finally figured it out
Then life loosened all of the screws.

Some people are saying it’s over
I think they’re wasting their breath,
Why don’t they move on and start living
They’re too busy waiting for death.

Isn’t it funny how all of us
Think we’ve finally arrived,
Until we look back at our lives
Whenever we can’t really decide.

History is never complete
Until you’re dead and done,
So get up and start becoming
Whoever you’re going to become.
