“So, when do you think you can make it ?”
“It’s hard to say, I rarely think”
“Well schedule it then, write it down”
“I’d do that but I’m out of ink .”

“Use a pencil then, or set a reminder”
“You know I’m not good with phones”
“Get someone to show you the calendar function”
“I would, but I live all alone.”

“Why do you do this, it’s always the same?”
“There’s no need to be like that”
“Whenever you call you say we should meet”
“Look, why can’t you just have a chat?”

“Its okay, don’t worry, I’ll go by myself”
“I’ll come with you next time I swear”
“You might do but it’s okay if you don’t,
If I wait I’ll never get there.”

“It’s not my fault I don’t have the time,
and please don’t tell me to make it.”
“I won’t ask you to do anything
I just wish you’d stop trying to fake it.”

“Fake what, are you saying I’m lying?”
“Not lying, just never committing”
“I thought you were a friend, not some kind of boss”
“I thought I was too but I’m quitting.”

“You’re quitting what, being an arsehole?”
“No I quit trying to help you out”
“I didn’t ask for your help, I thought we were friends”
“That’s what I’m talking about.”
