The Judeo Christian alliance is a modern myth
In current times, the idea that Jews should ever have felt any gratitude towards Muslims probably seems absurd. The modern paradigm is that of a saintly Judeo -Christian alliance standing for all that is good, and of Islam as a source of irrevocable barbarism, and lately terrorism. Historical fact would have it very differently. Before the rise of Zionism, and shared Western and Zionist political influences, the idea of a Judeo Christian alliance was utterly ridiculous.
Though historical reference is hard to uncover, it’s well known that during the second world war, Churchill and Eisenhower were at pains to slow down the military advances of their Russian allies, so that Hitler might have time to kill more Jews. Neville Chamberlain, Churchill’s predecessor, had no real issue with Hitler and his well-known extermination of Jews, as well as gypsies and the disabled. It was the invasion of Poland that irked the British enough to declare war. As for the United States of America, for decades the hands that feed, protect and and cover Israel, they had no intention of getting involved in WW2.
