I realize now that you are gone
I should have listened all along
Now that I can see the truth
All the people say I’m wrong.

Dismissed by arrogance and spite
And now I can’t see where to go
You’re not here to lend insight.

Now I’m the man you used to be
Nobody puts their faith in me
I guess when I’m no longer here
They will accept what I can see.
