Different people

“We’re different people now”
That’s the way you see it
Am I supposed to nod my head
Smile and say ‘so be it?’

You haven’t changed that much
So why the changing face,
I’m still the person that I was
Am I in the wrong place?

Have we grown into strangers?
We’ve been here once before
Before we became lovers
I guess not anymore.
