For the past ten minutes, I’ve been reading a series of messages on my phone and laughing. Sitting at home, presumably as bored as I am, a friend of mine decided to let me know that he’d been sitting at his desk (working from home) and breaking wind. I congratulated him and told him that his was a noble pursuit.

Feeling creative, I made up short poem. He countered in kind, and so it continued. Transcribed below are the poems we wrote. If you enjoy reading them as much I’ve enjoyed reading them, this article is well worth writing.

Some are proud
Some are pensive
Some are violent
Some defensive.

Some cause harm
And death extensive
Making many
Apprehensive.

Some are bubbly
And wet
Some are troubly
And cause regret.

Some create euphoria
Some deserve The Astoria.

All are precious
Every fart
Each blast that moves
Butt cheeks apart.
